Hi, I’m Sophie Bacon!

Hi! My name is Sophie, and I am in the final year of my master’s degree in counseling from Vanderbilt University. I work from a humanistic, client-centered approach, drawing on trauma-informed, attachment-based, and psychodynamic therapies as well as mindfulness modalities. I have specialized training in Brainspotting as well as a variety of expressive art techniques.

I enjoy working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, and I am especially interested in working with young clients who struggle with anxiety and trauma. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults. I love this work, and I have already seen the difference it can make in individuals’ lives.

Many situations lead people to seek counseling. I welcome all who are inspired to pursue a therapeutic journey, and I am excited about the work ahead.
