People have always been my passion. Whether it was through the volunteer experiences or jobs I had throughout my life, I knew I was made for the service of and connection to others. After beginning my career in Special Education, I realized I wanted to change directions from teaching and connect with individuals through a therapeutic relationship as a counselor. I have my Master’s degree in Human Development Counseling from Vanderbilt University, where I studied School and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I previously worked as a school counselor, completed a clinical counseling position in London, and currently hold licensure as a LPC-MHSP (temp) and a National Certified Counselor.

I am specifically passionate about working with youth and young adults as they navigate trauma, relational issues, and identity. My deepest wish is to walk with individuals as they unfold into the fullest version of themselves and pursue healing. I believe the therapeutic relationship between the client and counselor is sacred- where life is shared by both parties, learning and growing. I hope that upon meeting with each person, they feel like a little part of them is coming home to themself.

In my spare time I love to run, explore new coffee shops, catch up with friends over dinner, and celebrate the big and small moments in life.
